A summary of CyberFirst activities taking place over the next few weeks:

1. Empower Cyber Week – 30th Nov – 4th Dec - 5 days of live and pre-recorded activities for 12/13yr olds to get involved with. Schools need to sign up to the live sessions via EventBrite (https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/empower-cyber-week/overview).

2. CyberFirst Girls Competition – Team registration opens from 30th November  (https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/cyberfirst/girls-competition).

3. CyberFirst Trailblazers and Adventurers - 2 x free half day sessions on 8/9 ; 11/12 ; 15/16 ; 18/19 Feb 2021. (https://www.smallpeicetrust.org.uk/cyberfirst).

4. CyberFirst Schools Initiative - Applications are open until 11th December for schools in Northern Ireland and North East England to gain recognition for excellence in cyber security education through the CyberFirst Schools initiative. Secondary schools and further education colleges in Northern Ireland and the North East of England will be able to apply for CyberFirst Schools status for the first time in a new initiative from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) . The programme recognises excellence in cyber security education and now offers schools and colleges in Northern Ireland as well as those in Northumberland, County Durham, and Tyne and Wear the chance to receive gold, silver or bronze status.
